The economic crisis had very serious consequences and left visible marks exactly on the poorest layers of the society. In line with its mission, Caritas Bucuresti assists and supports over 800 families at risk of abandoning their children or withdrawing them from school. Together we can give them the chance to a better life and future!

Provide the access to quality therapeutic services for children with disabilities.

Offer the chance to a fulfilled life to abandoned children or to those born in poverty.

Facilitate the access of elderly to medical care

Only together we can…

Ensure the access of elderly and sick persons, with a precarious financial situation, to the Medical Home Care Program services and to free medicine from the Social Pharmacy.

Provide a daily hot meal to more than 150 people living in poverty, at our Social Canteen.

Support the poor families to avoid child abandonment and school drop-out through the External Support Program.

Ensure the access to free therapeutic services for children with disabilities, provided in  our Early Intervention Center.

Sustain the preparation for an independent life for the children living in the “Saint John” House.
