The future Centre St. Luke and Centre St. John
This new project is meant to be a social complex for children and Youth with Down Syndrome and as well as a centre for children in need. The activities in the favor of the people affected by Down Syndrome have developed a lot in the last years - Caritas Bucharest has become the innitiator of a few national projects in the favor of the people with Down Syndrome and thus the need of new spaces and facilities adapted to bigger capacities of intervention, assistance and research has come to life. In the same direction, the old St. John Centre for children in need needs the development from the point of view of improving the quality of the services and as well as the increasing of the number of helped children. Thanks to the partners and donors, the construction is already begun.
